David Bates
DDS
Dr. David Bates is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. After practicing in Southern California, he returned to the Twin Cities to join Bates Dental Care. He’s an active member of the local dental community and was honored with the Minnesota Dental Association’s 2017 New Dentist Leadership Award for his dedication to organized dentistry. Dr. Bates is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the Saint Paul District Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and he continues to serve in multiple leadership roles within the profession.
Outside the office, Dr. Bates enjoys traveling, skiing, running, and swimming. He loves calling Minnesota home—especially during the summer—and is passionate about combining advanced technology with a patient-first approach to make dental care more comfortable, effective, and personalized.
Katie Hannon
DDS
Dr. Katie Hannon grew up in Willmar, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota for both undergraduate and dental school, where she graduated with distinction. Dr. Hannon enjoys a wide range of dental procedures and loves establishing a personal connection with each of her patients. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hannon enjoys yoga, the lakes and exploring the Twin Cities’ restaurant scene. She is an avid Minnesota sports fans, so you can often find her at a Gophers’ game or cheering on the Vikings.
